Thermoptek Technology

Thermoptek technology is at the core of the Wi-Safe2 smoke alarm. This combines optical smoke detection with thermal enhancement to ensure that both slow smouldering fires and fast flaming fires are detected quickly by a single alarm. Being able to detect both of these fires also eliminates the need for ionisation smoke alarms, which can make responsible disposal of smoke alarms incredibly difficult.

A Network of Alarms

Wi-Safe2 alarms come together to create a network of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms to ensure maximum safety in the home. When one alarm is activated, all others in range will sound as will the receiver, providing you with total coverage of your home and protecting against these dangers in a comprehensive way.

These smoke alarms are great for landings, hallways, bedrooms and living rooms, and to ensure safety it is recommended that at least one should be installed on every floor of the home. Up to 50 alarms can be linked together in a single network, giving you a fantastic level of safety even in large homes.

Hard of Hearing Alerts

The Wi-Safe2 system has been developed for the hard of hearing and other vulnerable groups. The smoke alarm gives off an incredibly loud sound – 85dB measured at 3 metres – helping to ensure that the hard of hearing can hear it through their home.
