How Does the Bierley MonoMouse Electronic Magnifier Work?
The cable of the Bierley MonoMouse Electronic Magnifier plugs into the SCART socket in your TV, then the blue button can be pressed to begin magnifying; the underneath of the mouse can now be scanned across the text you wish to enlarge. This text can then be displayed on the TV screen at up to 100 times its original size, allowing you to reduce eye strain by enjoying easier and more comfortable reading.
What Can the Bierley MonoMouse Electronic Magnifier Read?
In short, the Bierley MonoMouse Electronic Magnifier can read any type of legible text. It is ideal for magnifying small print in books and on letters, and it can also be used to read text on bottles, jars, and packaging, allowing you to read the smaller text with greater ease.
Reverse Mode for Macular Degeneration
The MonoMouse is available in a version that includes Reverse Mode, a high contrast viewing mode for those with macular degeneration. Reverse Mode allows text to be coloured pure white on a pure black background, providing minimal glare and reduced brightness, ideal for easy and strain-free reading for those suffering from macular degeneration.

How Long Is the SCART Cable?
The SCART cable supplied with the MonoMouse is 9 feet (2.74 metres) long. This allows you to use the magnifier with a distance between you and your screen, allowing use in a variety of rooms.
Can I Use It With a HDMI Port?
For use with a newer TV that includes an HDMI port and no SCART socket, a SCART to HDMI converter must be purchased separately.
