How Loud Is the Amplicall 16 Doorbell Amplifier?
The Geemarc Amplicall 16 Doorbell Amplifier has a maximum volume of 95db. The volume is fully adjustable, so if you feel that it is a little too loud on its maximum setting you can always turn it down. The great thing about this doorbell is that it is full adjustable to suit your needs, and make sure you never miss a visitor again.
Is the Amplicall 16 Suitable for the Severely Hearing Impaired?
As well as featuring a loud ringer, this wireless doorbell for hard of hearing individuals also has a strobe flashing light to alert you to the doorbell ringing. The light on the Amplicall 16 is similar to the brightness of a repeating camera flash, giving you a very clear visual indication that a visitor is at the door.
What Is the Range of the Amplicall 16 Doorbell Amplifier?
The Amplicall 16 has a long wireless range from the doorbell to the main unit – up to 30m. Simply attach the stylish doorbell button that is provided to the wall where your standard doorbell button normally sits (strong adhesive tape is supplied that will enable you to stick the doorbell to most surfaces), turn on the indicator base unit and you're good to go; no need to programme or set them up.

Can the Amplicall 16 Doorbell Amplifier Be Wall Mounted?
The alarm unit with the doorbell speaker can be wall mounted with screws, or can be free standing on the stand provided, meaning that you have the option to take the doorbell speaker with you around the house to make sure you don't miss a visitor. This is ideal if you are in the garden or somewhere far away from the front door.
How Is the Amplicall 16 Doorbell Amplifier Powered?
Both the doorbell button and the doorbell speaker unit are battery operated. This enables you to place the speaker of the doorbell anywhere, providing maximum flexibility to meet your requirements. The speaker runs on four AA batteries (included), and the doorbell button operates on a 23A 12V battery (included). The Amplicall 16 Doorbell Amplifier also features a low battery indicator and a test button on the main unit, and is either wall or table top mountable.
Optional Pillow or Cushions Shaker
The Geemarc Amplicall 16 Doorbell Amplifier is also compatible for use with the Geemarc Shaker Ringer Indicator. This device, which can be placed under a cushion or pillow, will vibrate to alert you when connected to the unit.
