This is why the AmpliDECT 295 comes with the option to set the handset to "auto answer", in which case you can answer a call by simply picking the phone up from the charging cradle or the base station.
If the handset is not on the charging cradle, however, you need to press either the green button or the speaker button to answer a call. Pressing the button twice activates the speakerphone.
Does It Include an Answering Machine?
During those occasions when you're away from your home, the built-in answering machine enables callers to leave messages for you to listen to later. The recorded messages can provide reassurance that you will never miss any important information. The Geemarc AmpliDECT 295 Telephone has 15 minutes of recording time, audible time and date stamp on recorded messages, visual information on the base about the number of messages, a choice of three languages for recording your message, and more.
How Do the Photo Buttons Work?
AmpliDECT 295 systems, both the base and handset versions, are equipped with photo speed dial buttons that allow you to contact your loved ones at the touch of a button. You can use this easy-to-use template to upload your own pictures, and then print them out in the right size for the photo phone buttons.

How Can I Mount the AmpliDECT Combi Base?

Once you've attached the mounting bracket to the central hinge, clip it into place with the white rubber feet facing downwards to achieve the table mount position.

To switch positions, simply unclip the mounting bracket and swivel on the central hinge as show below.
Wall Mount Position
Clip the mounting bracket to the bottom of the back of the phone to achieve the wall mounting position, as shown below.
Does the Phone Light Up When Receiving a Call?
When an incoming call is detected, the red LED light at the top of each handset will illuminate. This light brightly and steadily flashes, clearly signifying that a call is on the line.

The telephone base needs to be connected to the mains. The cordless handset run on rechargeable batteries which need to be charged in order for them to work. The range of the cordless handset is 50 metres inside your house.
